Our vision
Our vision is to be in the top ten out of the 43 forces in England and Wales across all areas of policing from ease of contact to protective services. In 2008 we embarked on an ambitious change programme, '2012: a five-year development strategy'. We are on target to meet the stretching goals in this plan and our commitment to do so remains unaltered at a time of economic upheaval and national pressure on policing priorities.
Devon and Cornwall Police Authority and Devon and Cornwall Constabulary have jointly prepared the Local Policing Plan 2009/12 to outline our policing priorities and targets for the next three years.
